Tarabya's upper floor
Ferahevler is a residential neighbourhood rising up the hillside from the Tarabya shore. Property portals list it as "Tarabya – Ferahevler": a few minutes from the waterfront, yet away from its crowds. Sought-after compounds such as Tarabya Vadi Konakları and Tarabya Rüya Evleri stand alongside apartment buildings and houses with gardens.
A renewed Ferahevler: the Seba–Revak urban renewal
The biggest topic in the neighbourhood today is urban renewal. On an area of about 43 decares on block 388 in Ferahevler, flat-for-land agreements for around 155 families were signed with the SEBA–REVAK partnership on 13 March 2026. The project is planned to be completed in about three years. The partnership's residential project marketed as "Seba Revak İstinye" is also located in Ferahevler. Seba İnşaat's latest project in Tarabya, Seba Carina, is another example of new construction in the area.
On the edge of the forest
Ferahevler's greatest asset is Atatürk Urban Forest right next door (formerly Hacıosman Grove). Lying between Hacıosman, Derbent, Ferahevler and Darüşşafaka and covering more than 1,000 decares, it has three ponds and a total of 12 km of walking trails. Hacıosman metro station (M2) is a few minutes away.
Living and doing business in Ferahevler today
Quiet streets, compounds and greenery for families; easy access to the metro and Maslak for commuters. New homes are on the way with the urban renewal. Shops on the main street are sought after by local businesses serving everyday needs.
