What has changed most in Ferahevler in recent years is the skyline of its streets. Old apartment blocks are giving way to new buildings rising on the same plots. You can follow this step by step around the project known locally as Seba Revak, because every stage of the process stands side by side on the same few streets.

Six plots, six different stages
According to my site note of 9 October 2026, the plots line up from the start of the process to the end as follows:
- 1381/5: Most owners have agreed; some issues remain to be resolved.
- 1372/6: The old building is about to be demolished.
- 1377/7 and 1378/3: Renewal agreed; construction continues.
- 1374/1 and 1382/6: Buildings finished; residents have moved in.
This is a site observation on the date given, not a commitment to any handover or completion date.
Before: demolition and clearance
Seen from the air in January 2026, the site was one large field of rubble. Excavators were sorting the debris of the old buildings, and retaining walls and old basements were still visible. The new buildings in the background already showed where the renewal was heading.
Play the videoBy October 2026 demolition on the same streets was not yet over. Excavation continued on one side while an excavator cleared the last debris on the other.

After: the frame and the new building
On the plots under construction, concrete frames and cranes are rising.

In the finished buildings, new blocks with cream and brick façades and tidy gardens have welcomed their residents.

From the air, the new building has taken its place among the sloping streets and older houses of Ferahevler.

What to check when viewing a home here
When viewing a home in a renewal area, it matters which stage the building is at. Two buildings side by side on the same street can be in very different processes:
- On a plot still at the agreement stage: ask about the owners’ majority and the issues still to be resolved.
- In a building under construction: ask about the handover schedule and the current stage of work.
- In a finished building: ask whether the occupancy permit and condominium title are in place.
Visible progress and a completed transaction are not the same thing.
A note from Faruk Ordu
Renewal does not happen overnight, but when it is well managed it gives the neighbourhood safe buildings that grow in value. Whether you are an owner or a buyer, talking through the stage, the documents and the schedule from the start prevents most of the surprises that could come later.
